Assured Fire Safety Ltd was started by Paul Blacketer who spent 15 years attending incidents and carrying out Fire Prevention and Risk Assessments as he learnt his trade and progressed his way through the ranks of Essex County Fire & Rescue Service.

Paul Realised his ambition of attaining the rank of Station Officer, The same rank as his father – also an Essex Fire Officer, and decided that having achieved what he had set out to do it was now time for a new direction, a new challenge. Assured Fire Safety was born and we have been using our expertise and knowledge to safeguard premises and train employees in Fire Safety ever since.

Our Mission Statement is simple:
” To provide affordable fire safety training and fire risk assessments to a wide range of businesses with the sole purpose of creating a safe working environment by eliminating and reducing fire safety risks and increasing fire safety awareness through effective training”

Paul Blacketer has been a graduate member of Institute Of Fire Engineers (GIFireE) since 1999 and has worked as a fire safety liaison officer at the following events:

• Virgin Concerts ‘V’ festival, Chelmsford, Essex -1997 – 2002 (The largest annual music event in Europe)

• Southend Air show 2000 – 2003 (Most popular UK air show)

• The Cricket World Cup, Chelmsford Essex 1998 (Host nation for this world wide event)

• The “Spectacular” Concerts, Chelmsford, Essex 1998 – 2002
